Industrial Design

One of three parts of me, the one Plato called 慾望 (epithumia). I read it less as appetite, more as the place where the imagination of happiness, the feeling of the senses, and the delight in things themselves all live. Form, mechanism, and material were the first language I learned to design in. A bath trolley for an unsteady body. A fighter-jet line carried into a track motorcycle. A jewelry set carved in wax for a thousand-year love story. Still the room where I remember design begins in practice.
